For the customer Au.Tec srl we have created a cover for UV lamp using silicone mold replicas, for an ultraviolet vision system for quality control. This particular device allows a homogeneous diffusion of the light beam and through the image acquisition system reports the immediate reading of the product signaling deviations from standard conformity.
The lids were made of white pigmented blue material and reworked to insert the transparent satin diffuser.
The characteristics of the material allow us to advise the use of silicone mold replicas also on automotive production lines since it has an excellent resistance to heat and mechanical stress, in fact the lamp is used in production lines that work in a continuous cycle without interruptions of sorts.
