[:it]Ancora congratulazioni a Polimarche Racing Team per il raggiungimento del primo posto assoluto nella categoria “Class 3” durante la competizione Formula SAE Italy.
Ci sentiamo anche noi vincitori con loro, come realizzatori del sistema di aspirazione del motore tramite tecnologie di prototipazione rapida!
La competizione di Formula SAE, nata nel 1981, è volta a far progettare e successivamente realizzare agli studenti partecipanti il prototipo di una vettura monoposto da competizione.
Durante la manifestazione vengono affrontare una serie di prove statiche (Design, Business Presentation, Cost Event), ma anche prove dinamiche in pista (Acceleration, Skin Pad, Autocross, Endurance – per la classe Driveless le ultime due prove sono sostituire dal Trackdrive).
La Formula SAE prevede la progettazione e la realizzazione di auto a ruote scoperte di tipo formula, non è ammessa la partecipazione di tecnici specializzati nel settore delle corse automobilistiche o di piloti professionisti, per tale ragione sono gli studenti che devono cimentarsi in tutte le fasi progettuali e costruttive con tutte le difficoltà che questo comporta.
Si tratta della prima volta che il team raggiunge un traguardo così elevato, e confidiamo che sia il segno di una squadra che sta crescendo e che riesce a migliorare anno dopo anno.
La collaborazione per la stagione 2019, non si farà attendere!

[:en]Congratulations again to Polimarche Racing Team for the achievement of the first place overall in the “Class 3” category during the Formula SAE Italy competition.
We also feel like we are winners with them, as implementers of the engine intake system using rapid prototyping technologies!
The Formula SAE competition (born in 1981) aims to make the prototype of a competition single-seater car designed and subsequently implemented by the participating students.
During the event they are faced with a series of static tests (Design, Business Presentation, Cost Event), but also dynamic tests on the track (Acceleration, Skin Pad, Autocross, Endurance – for the Driveless class the last two tests are replace by Trackdrive).
Formula SAE provides for the design and construction of cars with uncovered wheels of the formula type, the participation of technicians specialized in the field of motor racing or professional drivers is not admitted, for this reason the students have to try their hand at all the planning stages and constructive with all the difficulties that this entails.
This is the first time the team has achieved such a high milestone, and we trust it to be the sign of a growing team that is able to improve year after year.
The collaboration for the 2019 season will not be long!
